Our wish list is comprised
of items that improve the service we provide to our clients and help our staff do their jobs more effectively.
We understand that some
donors are able to offer goods and services rather than volunteer time or contribute cash. We will gladly issue receipts for your
tax purposes in exchange for an inventory list of items donated.
As a non-profit entity, we gratefully accept any and all donations,
SCAP (BIG) Wish List
Donated Real Estate. Any property that can be used or rehabilitated for housing.
Rent Free Office Space. We would
greatly appreciate any donation of a multi-year rent free lease.
Cargo Van. Any relatively new cargo van will enable us to reach more
individuals in out lying areas more efficiently.
New Computers. Many of our computers are over 5 years old and desperately need
replacement. Any computer bought within the last two years would be a wonderful donation to our organization.
Plain Paper Fax Machine.

Basic
Food
Non-perishable single portion food items like: Cup of Soup®, tuna lunch kits, peanut butter crackers, oatmeal, bottled water,
dog food/treats (many clients have pets), coffee, tea, hot chocolate, creamer, sugar, disposable hot drink cups, plastic forks, spoons,
plates, individually wrapped hard candy, vitamins, etc.
Basic Sundry Items
Sample size soaps, shampoos, hospitality packs, disposable
razors/shaving cream, disposable cleaning cloths, (handy-wipes, antibacterial towelettes) spray disinfectants (e.g. Lysol® etc.) powder
laundry detergent, rubber gloves, paper towels, bus tokens, BART tickets, small hand held radios/cassette players
Basic Clothing Items
Men/Women's: Blue
jeans, work boots, tennis shoes, hiking boots, warm coats, (shoes/coats should be durable in wet weather) socks, gloves, winter hats,
sweaters, large comfortable clothes with elasticized waistbands, foul weather gear
Office Items
Copy paper, pens, misc. office supplies
(tape, clips, staplers, etc.) computers, printer
Utilities
Electric bill, heating, light bulbs, flashlights, general resource center

Band-Aids, aspirin, antacids, etc.
Professional Services
Volunteers Needed! If you or someone you know
has the skill sets to volunteer in any of the categories shown below, please contact us for immediate consideration! If you're unable
to donate your services pro bono, but could offer a significantly reduced rate or capped number of gratis hours, please indicate that
you are open to volunteer with supplemental funding.
· Dentist: Willing to take emergency case’s when needed (most clients have
some form of medical coverage).
· Psychiatrist: Willing to consult with staff or provide client evaluation (possibly prescribe
meds if necessary).
· Counselor/Therapist: Willing to work with client’s one on one or in a group, preferably someone with substance
abuse experience.
· CPA: Willing to do our 990 and audit.
· Business/volunteer: Willing to teach or mentor clients in basic
business skills once the EBI Jobs Program is initiated.
· Advocate/volunteer: Willing to work one on one with clients to act as an advocate with government agencies on clients behalf, general friend/companion.
